inhistory和inthehistory的区别以及用法

in history和in the history的意思都是“在历史上”，他们的区别及用法如下： 

in history 是有史以来,在人类历史上，泛指整个历史时期，一般单独使用

in the history是指某段特定的历史，后面一般加介词“of/among”，再加某个时期或者某个事物。

具体例子如下：

1. in history 为泛指“有史以来，在人类历史上”。例如：

We have entered upon a new phase in history.  

我们已开始了历史的新纪元。

It has never happened in history.  

这在历史上从未发生过。

  2.  in the history是特指某段特定的历史，后面通常会接介词短语“of/among..."表示范围。例如：

Leonardo Da Vinciwas a man unlike any other in the history of art.  

达芬奇在艺术史上是一位绝无仅有的人。

The icebreaker symbolizes a whole epoch in the history of Russia.  

破冰船是俄罗斯历史上整整一个时代的象征。

  3.  in the history有时也可以表示泛指。例如：

We can store about whatever we want in (the) history.

我们可以存储我们需要的历史上的任何信息。

the定冠词，定有所指，特定的意思。
in history泛指历史上，
in the history往往后面有个介词of...是指在……的历史上。
如：a college steeped in history一所历史悠久的学院（《朗文当代高级英语辞典》第五版）
This book was a landmark in the history of Engish fiction.
这本书是英语小说史上的里程碑。（《麦克米伦高阶英汉双解词典》第995页）
